TEMPLE ISRAEL HIGH HOLY DAY FOOD DRIVE

This year, once again, the Social Justice Committee of Temple Israel is making a financial appeal on behalf of our local Alameda City Food Bank. Throughout the years, our congregation has shown its deep commitment to Tikkun Olam. These unprecedented times, and our neighbors need our help. Because the Food Bank gets its food at discounted prices from all different stores and warehouses, please understand when you give $1.00 it buys $7.00 worth of food. Therefore, all amounts are appreciated.

As they have done in the past, the Alameda City Food Bank is committed to providing healthy, nutritious food to those in need within our community. The SJC appeal is designed to keep you up-to-date on what’s happening in Alameda and how we can help as a Congregation to get money directly to the Food Bank.
