For over 40 years the Alameda Food Bank has been providing nutritious food for those who need it most. Since the pandemic began we have seen a significant increase in the number of families who are food insecure, especially families with children, a trend we don't see changing any time soon. For every $1 you donate we can buy $7 worth of food to help those affected by a sudden job loss, a disability or any number of other life-changing reasons.
